Rain and overcast all morning. A bit brighter later and sun now at 7.30pm. 2 clips. First from chimney nest clearly showing 3 chicks. The second showing an adult arriving but avoiding the chicks then picking up a faecal sack.

Cool this morning then warmed up. Now a lovely sunny evening. 2 clips today. First from the chimney nest clearly showing 3 chicks. The second from the bedroom nest showing an adult and the 3 chicks sitting in a row.
Thursday 30th June 2022
Cooler and some very heavy showers. Adults in most of the day. Just one clip of a poor adult in the bedroom nest getting mobbed by 3 hungry chicks.
Wednesday 29th June 2022
Another cool day. I was out for much of today but in between trips caught 2 videos. The first is on the chimney nest with an adult arriving clearly showing 3 chicks. The second showing the 3 in the bedroom nest. All 6 chicks are growing very well.
Tuesday 28th June 2022
It’s been cold today. I even dug out my winter vest. Adults away for long periods trying to collect food for the chicks. I spent some time looking carefully at the two cameras. I am now sure there are 3 chicks in each nest. Very good news. Swifts only ever have 1 2 or 3 chicks. Never more. I am afraid I didn’t get the 3 chicks in the chimney nest. Often the app closes when I am recording from that nest. Also it’s so hard to pick the right time. Nice clip from the bedroom nest showing clearly the 3 chicks.
Monday 27th June 2022
Cooler cloudy day today. The bedroom nest chicks have stayed in the nest and snuggled up together. I think I have a clip showing the chick wings in the chimney nest. I think these chicks are a little older than the bedroom chicks. Time will tell.
Sunday 26th June 2022
Cooler and windy today. Some sun and a good day for swifts. The three chicks in the bedroom nest are staying in the nest. One longer clip today showing all three chicks in the bedroom nest one of them flapping it’s wings. They do this but usually just before they fledge.
Saturday 25th June 2022
Heavy rain over night but none today despite thunder storm warnings. All 3 chicks in the bedroom nest stayed in the nest. Short clip. The third is behind the two at the front.
Friday 24th June 2022
Cooler day with some rain this afternoon. The chicks have remained in the nest all day. A clip of all 3 after food.
Thursday 23rd June 2022
Not as hot today and overcast most of the day. Twice I had to venture into the attic space to rescue swift chicks that had gone for a walk. One of them I only found as I was leaving the attic as it was stuck totally in the wrong space.
