The chicks are growing fast. They look very healthy.

Took a video of the two chicks at feeding time. Away for a couple of days and forgot to post.

Was out with the dogs in the garden when a flock of swifts flew by screaming. I counted at least 17. This is the most I can remember seeing at one time. Still due to poor camera view i only think we have 2 chicks. I got a better video later showing the 2 chicks clearly.

At last I managed to view the nest unattended. I can confirm that there are 2 chicks doing very well. Sorry the video is so poor but cobwebs over the lens and between camera and nest.

Been away for a few days. Just caught changeover time. Also forgot to mention 7 screaming round the house last week. The clip shows the left hand swift just arrived feeding a chick.

7 swifts screaming round the house this morning. At last I got a view of the nest and I think there is only 1 egg on view.

Busy week. Only just got a view of nest without the adults. The weather has been dreadful. Wind and rain. View today of 2 eggs. I am away for a week so will see what I come back to.

Caught the nest empty and now 2 eggs.

What I thought was an egg last week turns out to be a stone. Today first sight of our first egg.

The swifts have been coming and going a lot. The weather has been great up until a couple of days ago. They have been collecting feathers the most common nest building material. A couple of clips from last week.
