I noticed this morning that there are now 2 swifts in the bedroom nest. This is the 8th year that I have been filming them in this nest. The same pair have been to Southern Africa and back, found our house and the very small entrance to our eves for the last 8 years. They have produced at least 2 fledglings each year so I expect them to do so this year. It’s been cold and very wet all day so they have stayed in snuggled up together.
