This morning about 8am parties of swifts racing round the house. Counted 5 with 3 on the nest cameras. Have been busy again today puppy and planting tomatoes. Every time I checked the cameras there was an adult on the nest. Didn’t catch any feeds. No clips tonight.

More overcast today and cooler. Great news managed to confirm at least 2 chicks in the Chimney nest. Interestingly several times today they have been left alone in the nest. Was worried that something may have happened to one of the adults but saw both in the nest area. Three clips.

Another sunny day today. Early this morning I saw 2 chicks in the bedroom nest. I have a feeling there are chicks in the chimney nest also but not caught them feeding so not confirmed. Clip from this morning where it is just possible to see the two chicks. I had a better view but it didn’t record.
Tuesday 22nd July
It has been a lovely dat today although a little cool. Great news. The below videos show a chick and an egg in the bedroom nest. I am unlikely to see any young chicks in the chimney nest due to the camera position. The eggs were laid at about the same time so there may be chicks in that nest as well.
Monday 21st June 2021
Cold and wet all day. All four swifts stayed home all day. A short clip from each nest. No evidence of chicks yet.
Sunday 20th July 2021
Wet morning then brightened up a bit this afternoon. As it’s Father’s Day my daughter was here. She saw a swift entering the attic on the other side of the house but in a totally inaccessible spot so I can’t confirm another nest. I didn’t see any flying around today and no change in the nest activity. Clip of bedroom nest showing the two eggs intact.
Saturday 19th June 2021
Much colder today and rain this afternoon I was out most of the day so saw no aerial swifts seen today. The views on the cameras remain unchanged so I still think the eggs are intact. Short view of the two swifts on the bedroom nest.
Friday 18th 2021
An overcast cooler day today. 4 swifts flying round this morning. As far as I can see all five eggs still intact. Two clips. One showing close up of one of the chimney nest swifts and the other showing the 2 eggs in the bedroom nest.
Thursday 17th June 2021
Rain overnight and some this morning. Then the rest of the day warm and sunny. Yet again no flying swifts seen but puppy is interfering in normal swift observation. No change in the nests. Briefly saw the 3 eggs in the chimney nest but didn’t manage to record it as a very brief view. I don’t think any have hatched yet. No clips today.
Wednesday 16th June 2021
Not quite so sunny today and although in the garden most of the day very little obvious swift activity. The cameras are the same all day with one on each nest most of the day. Two clips. The first showing both eggs in the bedroom nest and the second showing both swifts in the chimney nest area.
