Very wet morning and although I didn’t take any clips both adults were in the nest with my last chick all morning. It brightened up a bit with showers, enough for BBQ. On checking this evening the nest was bare. All five chicks successfully fledged. A tribute to both sets of parents as we had some good spells of weather but lots of rain,cold and wind. If I recall this was early nesting, egg laying,hatching and fledging. Another 10 months for me to await their return.
