After yesterday’s excitement two of the chicks in the bedroom nest got very excited late last night. This was before the adults came back. First clip. First thing this morning I counted 11 swifts screaming round the house. Coming back in I found that one of the three had fledged. Mid afternoon the second one fledged. This leaves the smallest of the three showing no signs of wing flapping yet. This evening one of the adults fed it and stayed home giving it some company.
